Frequently asked questions
Walk-in Racing
- Do you need a reservation at Speed Circuit to race?
A reservation is not required to race at Speed Circuit. However, for groups of 8 or more, reserving a group event is highly recommended as “Arrive and Drive” racing is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. To begin planning a group event please visit our Groups and Parties page.
- How much does it cost to race?
Each racer is required to have an active Annual license, if not they must purchase the Annual License for $9. Then you choose number of races you would like to do, the more races you buy, the more you save and all unused races will stay in your account for future visits and don't expire. 1 race is $27, 2 races are $41, 3 races are $55, 6 races are $88 and 10 races are $150. Race packages are per person and cannot be split up amongst other racers. We often run specials too, call or text us to find our our current specials to get the best deal! All junior racers will need to be at least 48” (4’) tall to race on track. All teen/adult racers will need to be at least 60” (5’) to race our larger, faster go-karts. To ride in one of our 2-seater karts, the driver must be 18 or older and the passenger must be 42” (3.5’) or taller.
IMPORTANT: Meeting the height requirement is not a guarantee you’ll be able to race our karts. Drivers will be measured at the location and must be able to safely operate all elements of the kart. Final approval will be at management’s discretion. - Does Speed Circuit have 2-Seater karts?
Yes, we have (4) 2-seater karts (unless they’re being maintained in the back). To ride in one of our 2-seater karts, the driver must be 18 or older and the passenger must be 42” (3.5’) or taller. We do, however, have a full arcade to keep the little ones entertained.
- Do I need an annual license to race at Speed Circuit?
Yes, you will need to purchase the $9 annual membership if you are looking to race at Speed Circuit as an Arrive & Drive racer. If you book a party, you and your guests will have the membership waived, however you will need to purchase one if you return for Arrive & Drive racing.
- How long is the annual license valid for?
The Speed Circuit annual license is valid for one full year after purchase (e.g. if you purchase your membership in June, it will remain active until June the following year). After the annual membership has expired, you will need to purchase an additional annual membership if you want to race, that will last for another 365 days.
